Royal Arch Masonry

Complete your Masonic Journey by joining a Royal Arch Chapter.

The Prince of Wales Royal Arch Chapter meets at the Masonic Hall on Church Street, Stow on the Wold GL54 1BB, and has been an integral part of Cotswold Freemasonry since its consecration on September 3rd, 1973. The Chapter celebrated it’s 50th anniversary on September 4th, 2023.

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday in March, May, September and November.

The chapter is closely linked to the Prince of Wales Lodge No.951, and also has members from Chipping Campden Lodge No.5452, and Sudeley Castle Lodge No.8976 of the Hilltop Lodges in the North Cotswolds.

Whether you are an established member or someone seeking to explore Royal Arch Masonry, the Chapter welcomes all with open arms, offering a warm and inclusive environment for personal growth and fellowship.

We currently have 45 members with a healthy list of candidates for Exaltation and interest from Joining members too.

The Chapter predominantly uses the Domatic ritual of Royal Arch Masonry and encourages excellence in ritual work. In preparation for each meeting’s main rehearsal which is held on the Monday prior to each convocation, we meet for informal rehearsals on Sunday mornings beforehand.

We support the principles of the Gloucestershire and Herefordshire Province of Royal Arch Masonry and the Archway and encourage our members to share in the ritual work of the Chapter.
